What: Once again SDKC has been invited to take part in the San Diego Unified School Districts Field Day For Students with Visual Impairments. Flying kites is just one of the many activities available to the students at this event but we like to think it is an improtant one. Basically you just have to show up with a few kites and try to keep them in the air so the students can get a taste of flying kites. I say trying because the wind is challenging most years. Light wind stuff is usually the order of the day. You probably don’t want your best kites as you will be letting others fly them.
