Calling all club members…

Volunteers are needed for the annual Civita Park Kite Festival on Saturday, April 26th. While some flyers are always welcome mostly volunteers are needed for helping the kids and families with kite stuff. Decorating, prepping for flight and helping correct kitastrophies. (fix tangles, fix broken kites, try to get kites out of trees, etc.

It was a lot of fun last year but some of us were way overworked!

There will be a live performance by Kearny Mesa Band from 1-2 and another band from 2-3ish. There is a splash water fountain for kids to play in and free kites provided by Civita.

This is a fun, family-friendly event. The San Diego Kite Club will assist the community by helping to teach, fly and fix kites. We will help children and adults with coloring kites. Additionally, we will help to recover kites from trees. Thank you in advance for any help and participation.
