The best way to join San Diego Kite Club is by visiting the kite field on a second Saturday of each month. Come say hi, watch and fly kites with us. From there, you can pay for a 1, 2 or 3 year membership. Then come out to our monthly meetups and fly with us over and over again. If you’re the cautious type, feel free to come out and fly with us. - Limited liability insurance for our members who also have an American Kitefliers Association memberships.

- You can vote on club related developments. Important matters are voted on by all members who care to participate. You can help shape our board member positions, how we spend funds, event activities and other club polling topics.
- Throughout the year, club members have chances to receive or win complimentary merchandise, kites, and kite-related gear. These items are shared in a fun and engaging way through games, random drawings, participation rewards, and other activities that give members opportunities to take something special home.
- Kite Party Registration approval is much easier if you want to attend. Simply tell them you are with the San Diego Kite Club.
- Access to additional resources built from decades of flying and community experiences. If you have a question, need help finding kite-related gear, or have a home project that could use support, reach out anytime. We’ll tap into our network of fliers and builders to connect you with a helping hand or assist directly. Your club is your friend.
