The club has been asked to fly at the public unveiling of a Dragon Statue at the National City Aquatic Center.  They are specifically interested in Dragon Kites if you have one but largish colorful kites will do. They would like to get as many as possible in the air.

This a paid event for the club so help from as many as can make it would be greatly appreciatied. Let Prez Dave know ASAP if you can attend:

From their email to Dave:
Your services would be appreciated outside of the building on the west wing along the sidewalk pictured below. It is a side walk area that runs for about 50 ft. This is where we are hoping to fit as many kites as possible.

This doesn’t sound like alot of room to fly but it is adjacent to a large parking lot and Pepper Park. The WebApprentice/thekitedude has flown and KAP’ed at Pepper Park and if I can find the photos in next day or two will post a couple. The sign at the entrance to Pepper Park specifically mentions kite flying!
