Upcoming Meetup Information

San Diego Kite Club, in collaboration with Kite Flite and Revolution, has put together a season of flying  at Seaport village. The inspiration for this is to help reach out to our community, grow our club, provide entertainment, support a local kite store and Revolution. Plus, it is a pretty good place to fly!

In support of this idea our meetups in February, March, and April will be held at Seaport Village. The dates will be:
February 8
March 15 (third Saturday to avoid Kite Party conflict)
April 12 (Seaport Village will be decorated for Easter – something to think about!)

Kite Flite Contribution
-Kevin Olenick, owner of Kite Flite, is going to advertise our club to help new members join out of their shop. Additionally, they are advertising in the seaport marketing department.
-Validating parking for the gated parking lot
-10% off anything in the store

Revolution Contribution
Free lessons from Joe Hadzicki  and others as necessary.

Kite Club Contribution
-Kites in the air, smiling friendly faces, enthusiasm for kiting and, hopefully, interaction with the public.

Parking (the big question)
Kite Flite and the Club will be funding parking for club members (if you wish). You will have to validate at Kite Flite.
Most importantly you will have to RSVP with Ziggy each month. Email or text will work.

Parking Lot B is normal Seaport Village parking and will require validation for an almost reasonable rate.
Parking Lot A is metered parking but is limited and for a max of three hours.
