Our Annual Halloween Fly with a few small twists.
Fly a Halloween Themed Kite and get a Point.
Fly Halloween Themed Line Laundry and get a Point.
Fly Both Kite and Line Laundry and get three Points.
Wear a Costume and get two Points.
Who Will Be The One To Do It All?
Each Point gets you an entry in a drawing! How many Points can you get?

AUGUST 14 – It might no be too late – get your request in now!
At the July meeting we will be taking orders for new T-shirts, sweatshirts. These will be pre-orders only so if you want to order something but can’t be at the meeting let us know by then. Prices are still to be determined but will be at cost (I think!)

When: Officially from 1 – 3 pm You could come earlier and stay later if you want.

Activity: Still in final stages of planning but expect to need people to help with kite building, flying, and kite wrangling. The usual stuff. This a first time kite fly put on by the developers of Cevita Park and may become an annual event if things go well.

We expect a number of reserved parking spots for volunteers!

Lunch: Potluck. Bring your favorite dish to share. Maybe even your favorite dish and a side or dessert. (We aren’t as big a group as we used to be!)

This is our annual birthday celebration (founded 1990 is you weren’t sure).

Club Elections: Dave is stepping down from his long standing position as Club President. A new president is needed, no fooling this time. Will it be you? Also the position of Secretary is up for election this year.

Time: Fly All Day

Lunch: I would plan to feed yourself. Haven’t heard yet what might be available at the festival. Sometimes food trucks or food booths. Sometimes no.

Activity: The Ocean Beach Kiwanis put on this kid centric kite festival. One of, if not the oldest kids kite festival going (depends who you ask, I’m looking at you Austin Tx.). Our job is to support the Kiwanis! Fly and show off kites, fly demos, do the Candy Drop, do some kite wrangling for the flying challenged. Help people to enjoy kites. So obviously we need Flyers and Volunteers for the day! Did I mention the Candy Drop needs many volunteers!
