4th & 5th – The San Diego Kite Club has 2 more pending events worth hearing about because they affect our club members.
US Bank Performance at Hotel Del – We are on the verge of booking a huge deal to perform for US BANK. This is a paying job to help fund raise money for San Diego Kite Club. If we get the job, several members will be performing at a 3 day event for the top leaders of US Bank. The job pays over $4000.00 plus some added perks. This is major news and we will share all the details once the contract is signed. The pilots will be named, compensated is provided and any major developments will be shared at in person meetings or by way of email. We are not allowed to write an article about this event or advertise our involvement. Wish us luck and hope for solid winds.
Yucca Valley Community Fly – The city is asking us to show up and fly with their community. There is talk about compensation for each of our volunteer pilots and an honorarium for the club to help fund raise. More news on this later if we get the job. We will be seeking volunteers for this event in the very near future.
