It is time to be thinking about next years dues. It is best if all flyers can pay for the year in advance. The rental is paid for at the beginning of the year for the whole year and so funds are needed upfront!

Don’t have an indoor kite? Come out anyway we will loan you something to try!

Don’t forget to pay your dues, you can even due it (get it?) online on the EMF website. Although it is possible to pay per event ($10) it is extremely helpful it you can pay for the year upfront (the rental has to be paid upfront for the year). Start saving your allowance –  annual dues will be due soon. First timers get a Free Trial!

Activity: Annual Rev Shootout. A friendly competition to test your Rev Flying skills. This years event will be the same as last year – Pop The Balloon. But, this year the winner gets a Baby Dragon Paper Trophy! (See last years Rev Shootout HERE)

Thursday, Aug 8, Mission Point Park, Mission Bay, Map If You Need It (#5 on map)

Time: 10am until 2:30pm (more or less)

What: San Diego Parks and Rec day camp that specializes in working with children, teens, and adults wtih autism. They expect about 65 campers and a number of staff. Our job would be kite wrangling. Mostly flying Frustrationless Flyers and maybe showing off a bit. The campers will be rotating in and out in groups to fly so not all 65 at once!

Why: Besides being something our mission statement says we do, it’s a good cause, and you get to fly kites and it can’t hurt to get on the good side of San Diego Parks and Rec!

Activity: Dog Days of Summer Plus. Fly a kite of a dog or any other four legged animal (cat, cow, pig, unicorn, etc) and be entered into a drawing for a prize.
