The August General Meeting was dedicated to the Dog Days of Summer. The sun was out, the weather was great, it was even a bit breezy for San Diego.
In honor of the Dog Days of Summer we flew dog kites and had hot dogs for lunch. We even had a real live dog. Member participation was high and we had a large variety of dog kites.
Participation was a bit lower for the annual two line stunt kite tail grab/fight but everyone had fun. The kites survived and went to the two first place finishers, Roger and Jim. (Or maybe it was Jim and Roger?)
