At the May meeting every year, SDKC takes a few moments out of the meeting to remember members who have passed.

This years memorial particularly poignant  because of the recent unexpected passing of founding SDKC member Ron Despojado. Ron’s family members and friends attended and spoke. Ron’s kites were broken out and flown. Lunch was of course, Tacos.

All other members were who have passed were also recognized with the traditional reading of names and a banner tail with all their names on it was flown for much of the afternoon.
